Welcome to The Garden of Evie
Eco-Florist using Sustainable Floristry Practices
I'm Hannah, a qualified eco-friendly florist with a background in interior design. Working from my workshop and micro flower patch in Yorkshire, I bring you sustainable, ethical flowers with integrity.
Inspired by nature and the seasons and my love of gardens, I offer wild, untamed farewell tributes, seasonal & dried wreaths, wedding florals for couples who are eco conscious & creative workshops for groups or 1:1 sessions.
I am passionate about using seasonal, scented, artisan flowers in my work, often grown by me or sourced from a network of local and British growers, which supports independent local businesses and reduces the miles your flowers have to travel and keeps the bees happy. I am a member of Flowers From the Farm which is a multi award-winning, not-for-profit, co-operative of British cut flower growers. You can read more about this here.
I'm committed to looking after the earth and strive to embed sustainability into my business. I donate 2% of all sales to Tree Sisters, an organisation funding the restoration of environments, biodiversity and communities through reforestation projects and in the process, planting millions of trees.
My flowering calendar reflects the British growing season & runs throughout the year as follows:-
January, February & March
Farewell flowers, fresh & dried wreaths, workshops
April to September

October to December
